Re slinging hexes

My hexes' original slings are knackered. For the time being I'm going to thread them with rope and tie it off with a double fishermans - question is, should I use static rope (as obviously the slings were static) or dynamic? Ta

It doesn't matter, since it's a short length, and will be used with a dynamic rope.

All accessory cord is static afaiw. Unless you've got some fancy super thin lead lines you don't mind chopping down you won't have much choice.

Most important: size 10 & 11 the knot goes *inside* the hex.
