I'll be over in North Wales next month for a family holiday.

Would like to do some running whilst there, Planning on running up snowdon via the Llanberis path. Would normal trail trainers or speedcross be best?

Any good runs around east Anglesey?

Either for Snowdon. I've been up and down in Brooks Cascadia 9.

Look at the coastal path for Anglesey

trail trainers would be perfect, speedcross probably a bit overkill. enjoy!

The Anglesey coastal path is superb, especially when the weather is bad in the mountains.

If dry road shoes are fine for the llanberis path.

Also Newborough forest or beddgelert forest are good if the weather is bad.

Couple of Anglesey ideas:
park at Benllech, coast path south then east to back of beach at east end of Pentraeth Forest, making sure the tide is low (vital to check that out!!) head North west across Red Wharf Bay on the sand (with the odd channel to cross) all the way back. Can extend run into Pentraeth Forest if wanted.

Newborough Forest: park at Pen-lon (NE corner of forest). South down coast path, then west on beach, across and around island (unless tide is high), north along beach, find way back to coast path and cut across the north of the forest back to car (need map for this bit)
