Does anyone know any sources of snow reports for the peak district? I rely on Twitter at the moment.

Yorkshire has this:

MWIS - http://www.mwis.org.uk/english-welsh-forecast/PD/

Edit: Having re-read your post I see it's not weather reports you're after, but actual snow reports. Oh well, MWIS may still prove useful

Thanks.

Ingleborough has a webcam, which is handy, I might have to try there this week.

When it's snowy I put snow/weather reports for Mam Tor/Winnats (and a pic if I have one) onto Safariquip's facebook site when I get into work. I live up at 400m so usually include a temp reading for that height.
http://www.buxtonweather.co.uk/ is another good source, particularly for road conditions.

Some crackers today - and always a very interesting feed. Twitter gets a bad press a lot of the time, but it's stuff like this that makes it really useful

Well if it helps, it's snowing like f*ck in Penistone, with a good 4" already lying.

Thats a shame, not in it this year but remember well doing it in very similar conditions, all good fun, its meant to be spicy.......

All the main roads are fine this morning (and most were actually OK last night), but a night on the moors would have been a different matter so good decision to cancel. It's actually a cracking day in Castleton, still snow to the valley but softish (a bit of ice forming last night). +1.5C at 400m at 8.30.
Mam Tor currently looks like this:
