Hello all,

6 of us from our local climbing centre are going to attempt to climb the height of Everest (8848m).
Rough math stands at about 150-165 routes each depending on the walls we use. We are going to try to stick to routes between 5-7a.

All the money is going towards Sport Relief, all donations will be very much appreciated.
A bucket for donations will also be at the centre during the run up to the challenge (20th March)

Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Im off to hang on the fingerboard for 8 hours.....

Cheers,
Ben

Have you factored in your estimations the need to subtract 2m from the height of each route, to cover the fact that you can clip the anchor from feet 2m below it?

Not that I want to make it harder for you, of course, just that I really wouldn't want you to have to do it all again when you realised you'd only made it to 600m short of the summit!

Sounds like a good plan anyway - enjoy.
