I'm thinking of going up high street from the east on sunday, parking at the end of the road that runs alongside Haweswater. It's forecast to snow, do people think the road will be OK? How much does it have to snow to make it dodgy? I only passed my driving test a month ago so don't fancy pushing my luck.

The haweswater half marathon is on tomorrow (sun) from bampton along the side of haweswater to the end of the road and back again. Probably worth avoiding the road for a few hours while it's on (starts 11.30ish I think??).
