Last year myself and my climbing partner Mike Whitehurst, went on a mega climbing trip to the Dolomites. I posted on this forum about it and I know that some of you guys followed our trip on social media which we are very grateful for.
We have now applied for a competition so that we can recreate the style of Dolomites trip but this time in Latin America. We need people to vote for us to be in with a chance of winning the trip. We are currently leading in our category but there is still a few weeks left for people to vote and someone is catching up on us rapidly. The trip we did last year was absolutely epic and we hope to make this next one even better. We are not the best climbers in the world but we are very enthusiastic and are both obsessed with the sport. We loaded up our touring bikes with all of our camping gear, trad climbing gear, clothes, cooking equipment, cycling kit etc and we cycled 2200km from Manchester to Northern Italy. When we got there we rode around the Dolomites one and a half times to visit all the crags we wanted to get to, we wild camped and spent all of our time on long multi pitch trad routes. We lived a real dirtbag lifestyle and we loved it. This trip still stands as the best time of my life.
