Got a friend that's been on the indoor wall a couple of times. He wants to buy his own harness. And seen the 39quid x climb harness kit and was wondering if it was ok for a first harness

Some comments on it here - seems OK http://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/t.php?t=500663

Another good harness is Black Diamond Momentum - Go Outdoors - £27, but that's just the harness, not the crab and belay device.

Best to go to the store and try out.

Yea I will be taking him over next time I'm heading that way. He just didn't know if it was worth the 40 notes

Perfectly safe and functional harness - if it fits, of course!

Cool I'll let him know when I see him tomorrow. He just didn't want to waste his money. But on the other hand didn't want to spend loads incase he don't take to climbing
