Hi Folks,

Looking for 'Plasir Sud' or any other good guidebooks for Ticino area.
ideally that covers low to mid grades

Anyone have a 2nd hand copy they would sell?

'Plasir Sud' appears out of print! Anyone know any other guide books?

Thanks

JJ

There's a bit of coverage in the plaisir select guide. Other than that I don't know.

The SAC has a comprehensive guidebook that covers all climbs in Ticino. If not interested in the areas in France and Italy, it might be the better choice anyway. Plus, it is not out of print. For ordering from abroad, you can try here:

Definitely not out of print -

I advise you to go for the first (cheaper) link. The second link, climb-europe, states "this guidebook is written in German, French and English text throughout." This statement only becomes true if you replace the word "English" with the word "Italian".

The latest, 2011 edition of Plaisir Sud is shown on the publishers page here, with the correct languages indicated.

Several other of the Plaisir series have replaced Italian with English as the third language in the latest editions, but not this one.

Can't help with a second hand copy I'm afraid.
