Hi all,
Heading up north for a one day hit tomorrow. Subject to getting there and assessing conditions, these routes are top of our agenda. Any beta after today's warmer temps will be more than welcome.
Cheers

Don't have any first hand info but I'm guessing Crowberry Gully would be the first to go. Unfortunately still mild on sunday. Harrison's could be dodgy with soft wet snow in basin above. hth

Rapidly softening snow to Munro height today, and no signs of a refreeze for a couple of days. I wouldn't be venturing into gullies, or anywhere with deep accumulations of snow to negotiate, not just due to the potential avalanche hazard caused by wet, dense snow, but also because you'll be up to your neck in soft, wet snow, making progress next to impossible.

Thanks Ken - we rapidly abandoned all previous plans on the walk in seeing the loss of ice and snow. Ended up walking up Ledge Route - a grand mountaineering day in the end.

No problem. Clear skies overnight helped firm up the snow, but most of the lower ice climbs have gone. The Shroud however, is still complete...
