Slightly out of data info but we did the Liathach traverse on Sunday. There was still a decent amount of old snow on the upper slopes but crampons were optional and pinnacles were bare. If some of the snow is still there and freezes, axe and crampons will be useful for short stretches, but I very much doubt it would be considered winter condition.
