Small/light bags - cheap alternative to dry bags.

So I've been looking at small dry bags for a while to keep "stuff" organised in my pack, you know, 1 for a little 1st aid kit, one for headtorches/emergency food etc.
But I always decide dry bags are too expensive/bulky/big and I probably don't need them to be waterproof.

So does anyone have any good alternatives?

The Brief: Cheap (£2 each absolute max.), small (0.5-2L), somewhat durable (not mesh/netting), secure closure, different colours/clear would be nice.

Or should I just invest in the best freezer bags I can find

Ikea freezer bags are good with a variety of sizes and double closure.

Thanks, but I've looked and still not willing to pay £3 each+ postage...

Will do, cheers!

Headtorch, 1st aid kit? I would suggest that you do need them to be waterproof. For what you are describing, dry bags fit the brief, you are just too tight to stump up the cash!

Look at Pencil cases in the pound shop. Karrimor dry bags are good value. Also check out the Magma 3 pouch pack on Amazon.
