It's time to jack it all in again and go off climbing. Any good suggestions around the world for dirtbag climbers.

Leaving Oct Nov time, bouldering and trad! Arapiles type set ups with good social scenes to meet other climbers!

If you include sport you'll have considerably more places to choose from.

But if you're set on trad and bouldering then the States is probably the best place. Hueco, Yosemite, Joshua Tree and Red Rocks spring to mind.

Wadi Rum maybe? The camp site cost about £1 from memory and there was a steady trickle of climbers passing through. Wouldn't describe the social scene as lively though. Big multi-pitch trad walking distance from the camp site.

yosemite camp 4 is the dirt bag spiritual home.

can be done very cheaply and restrictions on time in the valley are not a such a problem in the autumn.
