Does anyone know when the closures for access land in the peak are this year? I'm particularly interested in the area that affects bamford and parts of stanage. The only information i can find seems to relate to last year for example.

Seems to be shut from 9th-27th May, 31st May to 3rd June, and 6th June to 10th June.

I was discussing this with Henry Folkard only yesterday. The dates should be released soon.

NB public footpaths are not affected and in effect this means climbing on Stanage is not affected. Bamford will only be affected mid-week.

Dogs are a big concern with the landowner and should be kept on a lead at all times.
