Looking for a pair of technical bouldering shoes to do a tour of the UK in come summer (Dorset, peaks, lakes, dunbarton, torridon) and perform well indoors.
I know that scarpas fits well and are very comfortable (generally a 41) I can get the Mago's for £60 in my size and owning a pair is pretty much a no brainer. I'm interested in whether it might be complimentary to also own a pair of Instinct VS's.

I'm 5ft 7, 65kg ish.

Mago: Cheap, Downturned to f*ck XS grip 2 rubber, no real toe hook rubber.
Instinct VS: More expensive, less downtuned, XS edge rubber, great toe hook rubber, great heel hooking.

Would it be worth owning both? Would the Instinct smear sufficiently well?

I found the instincts do everything just don't get them to small, half a euro size down from street shoe was perfect which also allowed them to flex and smear well as well as being excellent at everything else so personally I wouldn't bother with the mago

Have bought both from bananafingers. Will be in bristol next week so I can try them both, and return one pair of I decide it's not for me.
