I'm sure the BMC will report fully soon, but the One Step block was crowbarred off today, leaving a dirty but apparently more solid area of rock which should climb at a similar grade.

Good stuff but I'm sad the dreaded v groove has gone let's hope it cleans up ok and the route retains some of its character.

Slightly off topic but is the wire visible @1:02s definitive crag swag or something more ambiguous? :0).

Definite crag swag, they found it behind the block.

Girt big block trundle followed by associated crag swag. Perfect day out methinks ;0).

And some collateral decent ash for the woodburner...

But where will it all end??? What about the pinnacle on Shadrach/the Brothers? I've been having nightmares about that for 45+ years.

It's OK, innit? I'm sure I gave it a good kick soloing past, mid-70s and it didn't budge an inch. It'll probably last me out.
