Hi

I'm looking to get a new pair of boots which would across a variety of conditions from Mont blanc to the Lake District in the summer. I won't be climbing particularly high grades in them so i thought perhaps a b2 boot is best.

the two i've been looking at are the Mammut GTX Magic or the North Face s4k. Does anyone have any experience using these boots? the north face ones are currently around £50 cheaper.

I'm also open to other suggestions,.

The s4k's are very flexible. More of a b1 than a b2 boot despite the heel block. Great for winter walking?

I highly rate my Salewa ravens. It is obviously all about fit but I tried both those boots and went for the salewas.

They are all a bit much for summer in my opinion you are better with a trail shoe/ light boot and a set of B2s
