Has anyone cycled the NC 500 in summer (or have experience on some of the roads used).
2 concerns, the Midges! Is it likely to be an issue for the whole route or just a few areas of the west coast?
Also, the traffic - it seems to 'Road trip' to do by car as well so is it likely to be an issue for cycling?
