Both English teams in the semis.

Good death bowling against the Aussie women restricts them to 132 after a very fast start. The problem is that England seem to have a habit of doing the same - big opening partnership followed by collapse and a close finish. Reckon we'll see the same again today.

In reply to Chris the Tall:

Going to prediction so far!
 Rampikino 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:

Yes - totally going with your prediction Chris.

Fingers crossed that they can defy you and their typical performances and come through for a famous win. I reckon this is as tough as the final - win this and they can take the trophy (same could be said for the men perhaps).
 Rampikino 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:

There it is - the first wicket just as England go past half the target (and at half the overs too). Delicately balanced. Fingers firmly crossed.
In reply to Rampikino:

And now the second ... I've got a bad feeling about this
 Rampikino 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:

Pressure is on. They have wickets in hand but need a cool head or two to keep that run rate ticking along and get them over the line.
 Rampikino 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:

3 down. I'm going to stop watching as I think I'm cursing them.
In reply to Chris the Tall:

Still wickets in hand, but the run rate has increased a bit and the pressure is on.

And another wicket falls - Taylor is the key player here
In reply to Welsh Kate:

> Going to prediction so far!

Sadly it did.

So I hereby predict a century for Joe Root !

In reply to Chris the Tall:

Woo hoo - hope you are right (again)
In reply to Rampikino:

England women:

59/0 to 109/9 v WI
42/1 to 92/8 v Ind
67/0 to 127/7 v Aus
 Rampikino 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:

Aye - that ability to capitalise on a good start just isn't there and, as a result, they have paid the price. Painfully close to the finish line too.
In reply to Rampikino:

> Woo hoo - hope you are right (again)

Lets hope so - I think it's going to be a big target to chase
 Welsh Kate 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:

Missed the end of England women's innings and all of NZ men's innings in meetings
Let's hope Chris' prediction about Joe is true!
In reply to Welsh Kate:

89/1 after 10 to 153/8 - good comeback by England
The New NickB 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:

Well bowled from England, lefs see if they can bat well and bowl well in the same game, it's failed them so far this competition.
 Rampikino 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:

I predict a crushing defeat
In reply to Rampikino:

16 off the first over - what could possibly go wrong ?
 Welsh Kate 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Rampikino:

Early days....
 tony 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Welsh Kate:

Decent first 10 overs
In reply to Welsh Kate:

Brilliant stuff by Roy - surely England can't lose it from here. Shirley ?
 Welsh Kate 30 Mar 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:

It's England - anything can happen!
 Welsh Kate 30 Mar 2016

Not a dominant performance with the bat so far.
West Indies must be hot favourites at the moment.

And now 3 down. Still a long way to go though.
 Andy Say 03 Apr 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:

How, exactly, do you apply for canonisation?. Highest scorer in the T20 final and then knocking off two wickets in one over; including Gayle. What a performance!
 Andy Say 03 Apr 2016
In reply to Gone for good:

I'm not quite believing this as it unfolds.
In reply to Andy Say:
Another wicket! 4 down.........maybe not?????
Oops not out.

In reply to jonnie3430:

A West Indies double. The women won their final earlier in the day. And world champions at under 19.
In reply to Chris the Tall:

WTF!!! Timed my run over the snake pass badly, but got back into radio range just in time for the last over..... That's some way to win it!
 Andy Say 03 Apr 2016
In reply to Chris the Tall:
I don't care who won. What a contest! Totally epic.
