I have an opaque calender that sits on my desktop, I believe its linked from outlook 2013

Does anyone know how I can remove it? I cant even move it around and all my files underneath are not accessible due to it selecting the calendar date

I have looked in the desktop customisation tab on windows and on the options on outlook and cannot see a way

can anyone help

what version of (I'm assuming) windows?

try

control panel > desktop gadgets

or alternatively

hover the mouse pointer over the calendar... does that make a windows control appear next to the calendar you can close it from?
