Ay up!
I'm organising a climbing trip to Almscliffe and some other gritstone crags nearby in June, and am struggling to find affordable accommodation. Many of the caravan parks I can find are quite expensive, something like £19 per unit per night. It is ok for caravaning, but expensive for a climbing trip where almost each person has a tent.
There are some cheaper camping I can find but nearer the limestone territory. Some 40 mins drive from Almscliffe? A bit too far....
Would anyone please recommend some affordable camping options near Almscliffe, Ilkley, Caley etc?
I'm also open to hut options. But I can't find a hut nearby on the bmc hut list...
