Snowdonia Mountain Guides is run by Mark reeves a qualified mountaineering instructor and climbing coach with a Master's degree in Sports Science and Effective Coaching. With over 15 years of teaching experience and even more of climbing in North Wales, the rock climbing course we run are not only guaranteed to help your climbing develop but also put a smile on your face as we tick off the classics.

How To Climb Harder Course- 4th - 5th June
This course is based on the book How To Climb Harder and is run by the author. The idea is we take a complete look at your climbing and focus on making gains in many areas to have the maximum effect on your climbing. We do this by having workshops on:

Footwork, Balance and Coordination
Steep Rock Technique
Efficient Climbing of walls, slab, corners and aretes
Mental Skills
Tactical approach to lead climbing
Training for climbing
Refining Gear Placements

Lead Climbing Coaching Weekends - 14/15th May, 28/29th May and 11/12th June
If you already lead climb and need help breaking through into the next grade then our lead climb coaching courses are what you need. The process we use is to get you to climb a route so we can assess your climbing. We then design the rest of the course to fit your needs chasing specific routes to help work you weaknesses. By the end of the course we typically see at least a grade improvement in most clients.
