Castleberg Crag will be closed for climbing for 2 weeks from tomorrow. Settle town council will be'decorating the crag' with the help of local climbers to celebrate the Tour of Yorkshire cycle race which passes through Settle next week.
Normal climbing service will be resumed asap after the big event.

And I'm delighted it is still the 'Tour DE Yorkshire'

In reply to Dave Musgrove: Might be better to make the closure permanent considering the number of fridge sized blocks that litter the bottom of this crag.
