So I've managed to completely snap my distal bicep tendon and surgery is due early next week to reattach it.

So has anyone on here had this done? How long is the cast on for after the op and when is it realistic to get back climbing?

Google distal bicep repair rehab protocol and choose shoulder.doc. This will give you a general insight into protocols but not your surgeons.
I would possibly write this summer off.

The first 6 weeks sound fun!!!!! Climbing by August might be realistic..................fingers crossed

Well the hospital are keen, they've literally just phoned and I've gotta starve from midnight as they might be doing the op tomorrow.
