Damaged climbing shoes..

Hey,

Got myself some Red Chili Spirit VCR shoes for Christmas. I know they are not a very advanced shoe but neither am I Pretty much I have completely ripped the rubber on the front of one of the shoes all the way through to the material. I tried to bodge this up by using some rubber bike puncher repair kit patches, but every time I climb they just rip off.. Obviously this rip is getting bigger the more I climb! My Dad (bless him) bought me these as a Christmas present and I kinda wanna keep these in good use..

You can get them resoled. It's not cheep though, so it might be easier to just bin them at that price level.

Good footwork is the best way to make shoes last longer. I also have a pair of £30 decathlon shoes to 'trash' while training so I can save my pair of anasazi pinks for actual climbing.
