Allegedly (!) this crag was named after me?

Trying to find out more info about it.

My name is Fiona - dad (Mike Richardson) called me Fi ... and hence the crag name.... possibly!

Any info would be appreciated!

Don't think it's a V Diff .... but I am

Here's the entry from the BMC's 'Peak Limestone - Stoney' guide of 1987:

"Ravensdale - Raven Buttress

47. Hi-Fi (21m; VS 4c,4c)

1. 12m. Start up shallow grooves just left of the tree then traverse right to a flake stance.
2. 9m. Climb the slanting corner above.
(1966)"

And from the 'First Ascents' list in the same guide:

"1966 May Hi-Fi - M Richardson, P Mason"

Were you born in (or just before) May 1966? If so, we may have a winner.

YES!!!!!! Thank you Rob Parsons!!!!!

Was born in Sept 1965. M. Richardson was my dad and P. (Pete) Mason was one of his climbing mates

Ok, thanks; happy to help - that's a nice story. Not too many people have climbs named after them!

In reply to Rob Parsons:

It's one of my only claims to fame!

Other than the fact that my mum (Judith Richardson - wife of Mike) used to share a flat with the human cannon-ball from Gerry Cottle's Circus circa 1964.

Apparently her flat mate never used the front door. She just used to shoot herself out the window onto the lawn and make her way to the bus stop

In reply to Trixiebelle:

Not exactly named after me, but Mothers Pride (HS 4b) on Craig Cywarch was a first ascent by my Mum and another new mum shortly after I and her friend's son were born.

It's a nice thing to have - enjoy.
