Daysac - zip opening or strap with clip?

Looking for a new 25-30 ltr daysac.
Wondering about the advantages and disadvantages between conventional straps and zip lids?

A broken strap or buckle is easier to fix. Zips are less watertight than a flap.

Zips can give you a larger opening to get to your stuff, might be easier with gloves on (as long as a pull tag is attached)

My preference for hill use is a top-opening lid with straps. I've yet to find a dry bag with a side opening and zips leak and get things caught in them.

Zipped for ease of access but add a lightweight liner for 'proofing.
