One thing I can vouch for is the increase in bi-curiosity. I've lost count of the number of straight guys who I've, well let's say, introduced to the pleasures of a gay experience.

Ahh - the infamous Rocksport Javlin advert IIRC?

I wonder if anyone has the series of adverts from the same era selling rope? Not sure if it was a manufacturer or a shop but the series started with a photo of an ostensibly naked young woman, wrapped in about 500m of kern-mantel.

Next month they had sold 50m to Clarance Clutchrock so her coverage was reduced......

A month later another 50m had gone to Roger Rockstar (quite a good title for Deviant's longings I'd have thought?)....

You get the picture. I think it ran for about four issues. Rocksport magazine again.
