Hi, has anyone any information on whether there is still a climbing ban in place at Vingrau ? thanks

Thanks for the link. I had a feeling the long term ban had been lifted maybe a year back, so hopefully there aren't any restrictions now. Should be obvious enough, there were signs everywhere whilst the ban was in place.

Sadly didn't get out that way . Strikes in France meant I ended up with less free time than I'd hoped

We climbed in the area last September and although we did not actually go to Vingrau (too hot), there didn't seem to be any problem; we saw people on the crag when driving past. After the bolting problems, a lot of the local crags have now been rebolted and are open again. In addition, there are new guidebooks available in shops in the area.
