Hi all,

Me and my partner are currently contemplating moving to the continent as it is an idea we have toyed with for a long time. After discussing and researching numerous possible locations we have decided to focus solely on Spain and Barcelona in particular. It seems to offer the most work opportunities for both our respective careers as well as the obvious good weather and ability to continue to pursue the things we enjoy such as climbing and other outdoor activities. We previously visited the city a few years ago and it was somewhere we enjoyed spending time.

I just wanted to know if anyone had any first hand experience of living in the city or the surrounding area and could offer any advice or information we should consider before making our decision?
