What's the most intentionally soloed route on UKC? Grit being allowed, as when you've stood at the bottom, suddenly 10m becomes a height you don't want to fall off from.
I find that the least enjoyable of the Burbage North solos. Happy on all the others in that area. The routes on those first few buttresses, if counting them as routes and not boulders/highballs, must be among the most soloed in the UK.

In reply to Jon Stewart: I think heaven crack would be a nasty solo as the crux is right at the top, and feels quite fall offable, even though it isnt hard.
Not sure if that would really count, most people I know only solo/climb the first pitch. I must have done the first pitch 10 or so times and the top only once.
In reply to zimpara:
Perhaps routes that give access to others are a likely candidate - Middlefell Buttress used to be a way to get to Gimmer.
Ordinary Route on Idwal as a way to get to Upper levels, same with Cioch.
On the basis of which route is most solo'd per assent (i.e. ratio of solo climbs to roped ones) I'd think that the California Arete must be up there simply because its very dificult to do much else with it.
