North Devon, easily within 2 hours, Portland is about 2 hours away too.

Brean Down fort crags at high tide if you're up for some hardcore DWS action

Fly Bristol to Gib . The dws is very good plus the sea temp is great and the tidal range doesn't effect the climbing.

Chepstow, at high tide, at night? Ohh, 'cept I didn't say that: it's out of bounds.

Bit of a mission for a single day off.

Any decent suggestions? (Thanks Tom for the first post)

Torquay, Dorset, Pembroke

No worries, also a bit further away but Pembroke is good too I believe. Quite a few options! For ease I'd go to Portland, Cave Hole is good as are some of the other areas around the coast. Belly Button Traverse is one of my favourite routes, not too hard but the ab in makes it feel like a real adventure!
