 Team BMC 02 Jun 2016
Come along to our regular gathering of Peak climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC. This month's meeting starts later than normal, so there's time to get in a walk or climb beforehand.

Date: Wednesday 8 June 2016, starting at 8.00pm
Venue: The Winking Man, Buxton Road, Upper Hulme, Staffordshire, ST13 8UH

BMC area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in your area as well as the rest of the country. Following some recent incidents of inconsiderate parking and infringements of temporary access restrictions, the focus of the June meeting will be crag etiquette and awareness.

Pre-meeting walk at the Roaches
We plan to take a short walk before the meeting, so if you fancy a breath of fresh air, and the weather is suitable, meet below the south end of The Roaches, at the Roaches Gate, by the car parking lay-by at SK 004 621 ready to set off walking at 6.30 p.m.

All are welcome. Food will be provided. For more information about the meeting, visit the BMC Local Areas site: http://community.thebmc.co.uk/Event.aspx?id=3680

Hoping to see plenty of people tonight! There'll be an update from Staffordshire Wildlife Trust on the Roaches and discussion about possible nesting restriction violations (and what to do about it), plus the usual access updates etc.
