Just noticed Simond gear on decathlons website , a whole range of beiners ,quickdraws and ropes just wondering what the quality of the gear is like and if anyone on here is using or has used any of it .

Simond is just fine. Not as fancy as some other brands, but definitly functional and inexpensive.
