I'm looking for a somewhat easy, unsupported three day tented tour in the Eastern Austrian or Slovenian Alps - probably the latter because we want to avoid huts.
In about a month, a friend and fellow hiker from the southern bit of Africa is coming to visit us in Bavaria and we've got three days (possibly four) with which to walk about in the Alps.
The more we sleep in tents, the more money we have in the budget to spend on Bier, Schweinshaxe and other local pleasures before and after and, ultimately, we want to show her the hills, not the towns. (We'll see enough of those during the rest of the planned road-trip.)
Glaciers and crampons and walking axes are fine. Ice climbing or free climbing of any kind probably won't be.
* draft itinerary: N£rnberg -> Prague -> Vienna -> Alps (3 - 4 days) -> M£nchen
