Would you like to/ can you suggest a 2 day with overnight camp canoe trip that isn't the Wye valley.

Something a bit more adventurous feeling would be good without it being a logistical nightmare. Oh and to be navigated in a classic wooden conoe so rocky rapids aren't ideal.

SW, Wales, England rather than Scotland, this is a quick weekender, not a 10 hour drive job.

Thanks
G

You could do the river Tame, nice touring river.

Chatooga River is nice at this time of the year if you avoid the locals. You've got a pretty face boy.

How about the Tamar? Not done it, but the bits I've seen looks good. Perhaps not especially adventurous but it's scenic and not rocky. Staying in Calstock is good. Check the tides. There's a train line which might help with logistics but only goes as far as Gunnislake, so you'd be restricted to the lower parts.

Thanks. Did the Tamar. Gunnislake to Plymouth a couple of years ago. Quite exciting heading out through Devils point with the out going tide. Felt like we were doing about 30 mph.

Something similar would be good.
