Hi All,

Just looking for recommendations of where to go in August for a sport trip. We went to Ailfroide last year and loved it but would like to try somewhere new. We're after mountain-feel multipitches, mostly around 6a-6c plus some cragging options. Was thinking about the Dolomites but want to go there once my girlfriend is a more confident trad leader to make the most of it. So, any suggestions? Cheers!

Recently went to Montserrat, it has sport and Trad. Lots of easy stuff and long stuff. Wortg checking out.

In reply to seankenny: well it would be hot same as most places in August "hopefully" but you may well be able to choose routes on the the North side of the domes.

furka and grimselpass areas are granite and high enough to provide good conditions.
