The Mountain Equipment Tupilak is an mountaineering focused hardshell jacket, that's designed to offer ultimate protection and breathability, when faced with the worst mountain weather conditions.
Made using 3 layer Goretex® Pro with an 40d face fabric, the Tupilak is tough as old boots and built to last, even when faced with abrasive rock and sharp slate. The Twin Napoleon chest pockets and chunky, watertight YKK zips maintain the technical theme, while the helmet compatible and fully adjustable Super Alpine hood is one of the best fitting hoods available.
This jacket differs slightly from the standard Tupilak in the Mountain Equipment range as it features 40D Goretex® Pro fabric throughout, rather than 80d face fabric. This means the jacket is slightly lighter, and still more than tough enough for the serious mountain user. It also comes in this amazing non-standard colourway of marine blue, with contrasting red zips.
