High iv been looking for a app or web site for locating the excact possition of the milkyway. Im really after one where you can put in a exsact location date and time so i can plane a shot when the core of the milkyway will be visable. Thanks in advance for any replys and think i i better get my bivy gear ready.

Stellarium is a free app. You can vary your observing location around the world as well as time.

I'll second that. It's excellent.

People keep it up to date with new objects as well, so I could make use of it to plan comet spotting a couple of years back.
