I'm thinking of going up this route soon, just wanted to know if anyone has any info on how safe it is, in particular stance 2, I had a quick look on the Avon Gorge fixed gear replacement database (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1grwpHkWNWfgRa3EcY2PGukTDQ624d25eOOD... and it sounds like one peg was replaces but the comment 'probably need to sort out this belay' isn't inspiring!
Anyone know any different or have any info?
Cheers
I seem to remember you can back the belay up with some small wires, or if it's really bad, there is a small tree slightly further right and a little lower down? Long time since I did it though...
In reply to BStar: For the record at the belay there is currently 3 pegs, 1 bolt and 2 nut
placements. 2 pegs and bolt tied off. Probably one of the better belays in the area. Small foot ledge.
