I'm looking for a cheap-ish roomy 3 season tent for mostly car camping throughout the year. I have a Hilleberg for more demanding conditions, but want to save it from the general wear and tear of general camping which doesn't need such a good/expensive tent.

I've not had a hoop/tunnel tent before and would usually prefer a dome style one, but hoops seems to be more spacious for a given weight and cost, and I don't need it to be bombproof.

Looking for enough room for three and with a decent porch. Any other suggestions? I'd like to cap the budget at £200.

Cheers,

In reply to Mowglee:

Hoolie certainly not bombproof. Mine broke a pole second time out and tore flysheet, in totally benign conditions. Wild Country/Terra Nova said fair wear and tear, £30 please.

Dreadful company.
