A very impressive, though not unsurprising, start to the season by Janja Garnbret. I wondered if her foot slip at the top of the wall might be because it was getting wet? The Slovenian team must be pretty happy with the double victory. Janja must be firm favourite now for the overall title with a start like that.
I thought the absence of the British team (only one entrant) might be because of the British Bouldering Championships this weekend. But it looks like no one is going to the next event on Friday in Switzerland. Given the good results we've had in the bouldering (and not just Shauna), and youth, I'm surprised we're not sending anyone to the lead events.
