Thinking of heading to The Tube in Dovedale to boulder tomorrow. Not been before. Its a 50min drive and the forecast isn't great. I'd imagine the cave will be dry but does anyone know whether it stays dry once you've turned the lip? Is there an overhang or vegetation above?

My memory is hazy as it was a good few years ago that I went but
Don't remember seepage being a problem and you could jump back onto the pads as soon as you turn the lip.
If you haven't been before be prepared to spend ages finding it, it took us forever.

Cheers, I think I'll probably go and check it out whatever. I'm sure I'll find something dry/dryable.
