I'm looking for a car hire in Girona as we are going with some friends to climb at the Catalan Pyrennes? Would you reccomend an international company such as Europcar or Hertz or a local like this one that I found? http://www.ganxorent.com/car-hire/girona-airport/

One thing I remember is that the big companies like Hertz may not charge you extra for going to France, whereas the apparently cheaper ones may do so (a lot).

We use Easycar (a broker, not a hire company) who always offer great deals, usually with big brands like Europcar and Alamo. Very easy to book online and the security of a household name hire company. Rarely pay more than £20 per day. Take out excess insurance online before you travel for about £10 a week.
