I am taking a group of climbers away in Feb/March 17 and want a change.
I have in recent years I have taken novice climbers away to Costa Blanca and it's been great but it's time for a change.
I have considered Croatia or Bulgaria, but with the time of year can anyone advise a good winter sun spot and the area in specific for Feb/Mar.
I would be taking them away for a period of 10 days, ideas on accommodation, travel, routes, guide books would be very helpful!

Morning Lee, get em over here to Bulgaria if March, Feb might be too cold!

We are setting up another Orange House (Costa Blanca) so if you want to let us sort it out not worries, we have accommodation we can use for now, all self catering and very close to the crags and Rich is sorting a miniguide as we speak!

Cote d'Azur or Provence are usually lovely in March (in my experience). Personally, I much prefer the ambience to Costa Blanca etc.

Hey Sam, last time we spoke you weren't doing accom, obviously a change for the better.

I'm doing an estimate on cost at the moment, I will email you.

Please can you send like to study the climbing areas and where to get local guide books, I'm pushing for March for the trip.

Our place will not be ready for next year but I have contacts in the village and will use them until we get sorted and finished!

This place is amazing! but then I would say that lol

Are you able to send pics and info on the accom?
Typical plan, start small, working on building skills, MP and then leading easy sport up to 5 and finish on teaching leading SP.

Accom: Tent.
Gudebook: Mentz/Tempest - brill.
Exchange rate: Best ever.

Sicily (San Vito) is a great destination for winter sun (sport climbing)!

Croatia in Feb / March has nothing common with Winter sun. You may get relatively cool dry weather by sea cliffs, but where's going to be snow in the mountains.
