I'm heading to L'Argentière-la-Bessée on a road trip with my girlfriend soon. Hoping to do some climbing and Via Ferrata if the weather permits. I was wondering what people can suggest to do in the area if the weather isn't great?
Also, any recommendations for places to move on to afterwards? I was thinking of the Verdon Gorge, then move on to the south coast but I'm aware that could be quite expensive, so if anyone knows cheap (ish) places to camp on or near the south coast I'd be really appreciative!
Could even head into Switzerland potentially, or Belgium on the way back up if there's anything to do. Basically I'm just looking for all round advice on places to go, things to do/see and it doesn't have to be anything active or extreme. I think she'd be happy fruit picking!
