Trad in Rio?

There is a big rock with a statue on top which appears to overlook the city. Does anyone know if there is any climbing on it?

On the Sugarloaf thing (Pao de Acucar) sure, both trad and bolted I´ m led to believe, I know I´ ve sent bolts out there few times for replacement work.

Aye, Sugarloaf mountian. I found a topo online a couple of years ago, grades started at VS.

you can do the K2 climb up to christ the redeemer. Did it about 6 months ago, great day out!
mostly bolted (albeit quite spaced). There's 1 pitch of trad on it
