Does anyone have good suggestions for a 3 day 2 night return itinerary from Saas Fee as an acclimatisation trip prior to doing the Monte Rosa traverse over 5 days from Zermatt. It will be 2:1 leading 2 reasonably fit guys in their 50s who climbed Mt Blanc earlier in the year. Ideally PD/PD+ ground and under 4000m on the first 2 days as I'm notoriously bad at acclimatisation. I've done 2 nights at the Almageller Hut before with a Weissmeiss traverse on day 3 and am keen to try something on the other side of the valley if possible this time.

Take a look at the Sengkuppa, Fletschorn area. Various bivouac huts and peaks from 3500-3999 (or whatever!)m
