Mine shipped today, fingers crossed it'll be here before the long weekend. I don't think I've ever climbed at any of crags in it.

Don't get too excited, there's far better climbing your side of the Pennines

I'm not so sure. Especially for crack climbing. I've heard very good things.

Although I am going to Baildon Bank tomorrow evening.

It's not Yorkshire, but it's worth a look

So many great looking starred routes at just Wilton 1 and Anglezarke, sounds like theoretically they would stand up against Millstone? Maybe the logbook is a bit misleading.

If you get them in condition, they're a match for anything at Millstone; and usually much less crowded.

Thanks. That's kind of what I'd heard, and I really rate Millstone. All this talk of not as good as Yorkshire had me a bit concerned I was getting over excited for nothing.

You've never climbed until you've climbed at Leicester Mill

I wonder if it's included in the new guide?

And climbing in Lancashire is brilliant, Niall's introduction sums it up perfectly. It's in Lancashire where you'll find out whether you're a lifer, or just a climber. You'll find some of the best, and some of the worst, routes you'll ever do.

Lester Mill Quarry

Wow! it is in there. But I would give this one a swerve until you've tried some of the less esoteric crags.

Numerous crags included which seem to have no climbs. Seems weird?

Also to reduce the size, surely it'd make sure to remove or reduce some of he climbs listed for bouldering only crags as these are covered extensively in the the bouldering guide
In reply to Climbster:

Can vertically challenged climbers still use it as a foothold, to enable them reach the starting holds normally only reachable by six footers? Still got my copy of 'The Brick'
