I've got family out in BC and I'm thinking of putting this on my radar at some point over the next couple of summers.
Anyone been there and done it?
If so any feedback from your experience would be welcome.
Thanks

Hi Jon
Thanks for that, so no bivying at the base or abseil descent for you.
Any other reports on the experience will be appreciated.

Like Jon I did this a long time ago but we bivied at the col. Climbed the ridge to the summit and then back down to bivi and then back to valley ( I think the glacier descent off the back is now too dangerous). We took a rope but soloed the whole thing - however it is a longish ridge and many would choose to rope up and down at least some of it. It is a beautiful area.

Hi Alan,

I noticed a good recent trip-report (around Aug 20th I think) on Cascadeclimbers.com with lots of information on logistics, recent summer conditions, best descent route etc.

Eddie
