If a fellow were to chuck a few quid at those kind people that staple up our crags, is there an easy way to do it online? A few places link to northwalesboltfund.webs.com - which seems to be down at the moment.

I know the guy who runs the bolt fund, I'll email him to let him know, cheers.

In reply to steveriley:

I am grateful for you considering donating to the bolt-fund, but the critical factor missing is volunteer hours, not cash funds...

I believe the peak bolt fund is in a similar situation.

Have you seen the state of my DIY? I'd love to help out but I was hoping a quick conscience salving operation

Paypal it to me direct steveriley and I'll be sure to pass it on to Andy Boorman and Pete Harrison.
I will.
Honest.

In reply to Ally Smith:

Really! That's interesting. I think it's the opposite for the Dorset fund. Willing volunteers but no money.

That's very kind of you AP. You've clearly not lost the manners of an English gent.

In reply to La benya:

Yep, it's true. As befits the profits from the volunteer written guidebook being put back into the bolt fund, unlike the "for profit" guides to Dorset...

I'm an ill-mannered WELSHMAN you prat. But thanks anyway. And where's the money?
In reply to La benya:

The Dorset bolt fund lacks volunteers too. A recent workshop had three attendees, originally 8 signed up. Pretty poor show when you think how many people climb on Portland.

It only has around 30 donators too.

There are two full bolting kits to borrow if you ever want to do some work Mark.

Apols, I've mailed you a few Welsh Cakes to cover hurt feelings

Thanks Alan.
